About the Job:
FINCA International is looking for a Marketing Manager (MM) - FINCA Nigeria. S/he will be responsible for development and oversight of the marketing department and the marketing function within the subsidiary.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Marketing research and strategy (30%);
- Marketing communications (25%);
- Customer relationship management (20%);
- Department/institutional development (20%);
- Support in other areas (5%).
Qualifications:
- University degree in marketing or other related field;
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience achieving positive results in sales, including 2 – 3 years in marketing department (preferably within a financial institution or a private sector company);
- At least one year of experience directly managing a team;
- Experience in market research (required);
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). Experience with design suites such as Adobe InDesign an advantage;
- Knowledge of systems and tools, including statistical software, for collecting and analyzing market information is preferred;
- Fluency in English required. Fluency in Igbo is an advantage.
