Human Leadership Resources – Our client , a wholly owned indigenous E&P Company, operating from its own 10, 000bbls crude processing station (flow-station), is currently expanding its operations and consequently looking to recruit strategic and positive minded individuals to fill the following positions:
Job Title: Procurement Officer
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for procurement of goods and services required for effective and efficient running of the organisation and in fulfillment of best practices
- Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement, quotation , tender and request for proposal
- Work with staff, vendors and technical experts in preparing specifications for quotations, tenders, proposals and supply agreements in a clear and concise manner
- Widespread knowledge of procurement, buying strategies, Commercial & Contracts in the Oil & Gas industry
- Possess negotiation, interpersonal, organizational and sourcing skills
Qualifications:
- BSc in Business, Commercial or Engineering discipline with a minimum of 2.1
- 3 – 5 years experience with a least 2 years experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
- Experience using SAP will be an added advantage
