Contribute to poverty reduction, sustainable development and the achievement of the water and sanitation
related MDGs.
WSSSRP III addresses the issue of poor access to safe water supply and basic sanitation services in 3 three participating States. It will focus on improving water governance and access to service delivery in these States. WSSSRP III will aim at deepening the gains of previous programmes, especially in the following areas:
- Policy and institutional reforms
- Community ownership and management of constructed facilities
- Civil society organizations and private sector participation in services delivery
- The programme aims to improve water governance and institutional capacity for increased access to safe, adequate and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene services in Adamawa, Ekiti and Plateau States.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Policy Studies, Economics, Development Studies, Engineering or other directly related fields.
- Proficiency in English.
- 5+ years' experience in managing development projects - preferably in water-related projects.
- Experience with institutional reforms and performance improvements of urban water utilities in developing countries;
- Experience developing water sector policy and laws.
- Knowledge of EDF regulations and procedures.
